Department Introduction

• Core technology research to support development of ICT-based technologies such as shipbuilding and marine IT convergence technologies, intelligent ships, and unmanned ships and helping manufacturing innovation 3.0 build a smart production environment
• Developing and securing core technologies for shipbuilding and marine materials such as composite materials, metal and non-metal materials, and functional materials, leading the convergence technology
• Establishment of an inter-industry technical cooperation system, such as ICT convergence, automation production base, and performance-enhancing base and supports development of marine IT systems industry
